GAF Energy launches game-changing solar roof to North & South Carolina residents

GAF Energy

GAF Energy announced the release of their newest innovative Timberline Solar roof. It would be available to North and South Carolina residents. Since we are talking about a company leader provider of solar roofing in North America, it is not hard to believe.

GAF Energy designed the Timberline Solar roof to be a one-of-a-kind system. It is the only one to integrate solar technology into the traditional roofing process and materials. That is because it is the first system in the world to use the nailable solar shingle, the “Timberline Solar ES™ Energy Shingle.”

“We’re thrilled to launch our Timberline Solar™ roof in the Carolinas. North and South Carolina residents now have access to the award-winning solar roof. Also, have a roof that pays for itself over time.” Said Jason Barrett, Senior Vice President of Sales for GAF Energy. “Solar roofs are the future of clean energy. Timberline Solar™ is in a class of its own: reliable, durable, cost-effective, easy to install, and aesthetically superior. We’re excited to bring the next generation of clean energy adoption to North and South Carolina.”

The company’s purpose was to make an industry-defying depth of less than a quarter-inch. Also, integrates it with traditional shingles to create an elegant and attractive look.

Another important aspect of it that we would like to highlight is that it is the first and only product with UL’s 7103. That certification allows GAF Energy to install the system on residential roofs under roofing products or solar energy products. It is the first of its kind to have bought recognitions.

Sandia National Laboratories, a U.S. Department of Energy research and development lab, was in charge of checking the product’s strength and durability.
