Firstly, RETScreen Software announced the release of Version 9 of RETScreen Clean Energy Management Software.
Secondly, RETScreen is a comprehensive platform that enables professionals and decision-makers to identify and assess the viability of potential energy efficiency, renewable and co-generation projects.
Thirdly, it is also used to measure and verify the actual and ongoing power performance of buildings, factories and power plants around the world.

Moreover, the project is spearheaded by the RETScreen Division of CanmetENERGY [Natural Resources Canada] with in-kind support from Oxford Properties Group, 3M Canada, District School Board of Niagara, Mohawk College, Town of Caledon, and City Housing Hamilton.
This project was made possible through the financial support of the Independent Electricity System Operator.

Also, it is used by over 750,000 people in every country and territory of the world. The software is developed by the Government of Canada in collaboration with international partners.

It collaborates with government and multilateral organizations. It co-funds and develops advanced versions of the RETScreen® Clean Energy Management Software platform.

Also, the focus of the innovation lab is to ensure that the RETScreen software is always at the leading edge of the clean energy technology transition. They continuously improve their platform to meet the complex needs of their large and rapidly growing global user community.
In addition, the software harnesses advanced algorithms and data to simplify decision making around projects. It includes renewable energy, efficiency, cogeneration and transportation.
Finally, RETScreen Expert also allows professionals to measure and verify a facility’s ongoing energy and sustainability performance. It helps to manage a portfolio of multiple facilities.
