Enphase Energy’s Battery Storage Solutions boost adoption in Texas

Enphase Energy

Enphase Energy Inc’s battery energy storage solutions are boosting adoption in Texas following severe disruptions in the state due to extreme weather events; the company announced this Monday.

Firstly, Enphase Energy is the global leader and supplier of microinverter-based solar and battery systems. Particularly, Texans have increasingly adopted the company’s Energy System, powered by IQ Microinverters and IQ Batteries.

Moreover, these solutions by Enphase deliver a much safer solar-plus-battery solution; they do not expose installers or homeowners to high-voltage DC. In fact, the Enphase IQ Battery features Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry, which provides a long cycle life; safer operation through excellent thermal stability.

In addition, the batteries feature the Enphase Power Start technology, which helps seamlessly power up air conditioners and well-pumps. As a result, homeowners have insight into their systems through the Enphase App; as well as the ability to go off-grid.

Furthermore, the Enphase IQ Battery accommodates over-the-air software upgrades and comes with a 10-year limited warranty; with also a 5-year limited warranty extension available for purchase.
