Enphase Energy and Salcomp

Salcomp, a global high-precision manufacturer, has shipped over five million Enphase IQ microinverters. Enphase Energy Inc, a global energy technology industry leader, disclosed the information. They are also world leaders in microinverter-based solar and battery systems.

From its factory in Chennai, India, Salcomp has manufactured Enphase microinverters and multiple components. It does this for its North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific markets.

The collaboration with Salcomp

“We are pleased that our collaboration with Salcomp has reached a shipment milestone of more than five million Enphase microinverters,” said Sunil Thamaran, vice president and managing director, Enphase Energy India. “Also, appreciate the ongoing support from Salcomp and our mutual ability to deliver high-quality products. We thank them for being a strong partner and look forward to our continued collaboration.”

Enphase IQ Microinverters have taken advantage of Enphase’s unique software-defined architecture and semiconductor integration. This is how they achieve reliability and economies of scale, for example. These Enphase IQ Microinverters are subject to rigorous reliability and quality testing regimens. Currently, they have approximately one million hours of accumulated ignition tests.

Their warranties are based on exceptional performance in hot, high humidity, salty air, extreme cold, and harsh conditions. Also, they are designed to be long-lasting power assets and are backed by a limited warranty of up to 25 years.
