SFC Energy expands into Canada through Schneider Electric partnership

SFC Energy

SFC Energy, a leading supplier of hydrogen and methanol fuel cells based in Germany, announced it is expanding its commercial footprint in Canada together with its long-standing partner Schneider Electric. The German supplier will open sales offices and warehouses in Ontario, offering the complete Schneider Electric Process Automation portfolio.

Firstly, Schneider Electric and SFC energy have been partners for over 20 years. Particularly in Canada, the company optimizes Schneider’s SCADA & Process Instrument offering. Schneider’s solutions meet the highest requirements with such optimization and are now integrated into the sustainable EFOY energy solution.

As a result, both companies expand their partnership, and SFC Energy Canada will now have sales offices in Toronto. Consequently, the fuel cell pioneer will now occupy a coast-to-coast position in the country, also establishing a bridgehead for the US market.

John Meerdo, Regional Sales Director, North America Channel Sales, Schneider Electric, said about the relevance of the agreement. “Expanding our relationship with SFC Energy Ltd. allows us to reach our customers in the Ontario area and better meet their needs.”

We are pleased that we can now serve our customers even closer and more efficiently.”

Furthermore, Dr. Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC Energy AG, stated. “According to our claim’ Clean energy everywhere’, we want to be close to our customers, provide them with the best possible support, and attract additional users.”

Finally, he also remarked. “Canada and the USA offer enormous growth potential for our market-proven EFOY energy solutions. With our new location, we are consolidating our distribution network and tapping into further value-added growth.”
