Technip partners with TÜV Rheinland to expand services worldwide

Technip Energies announced this Tuesday it entered into a strategic alliance with TÜV Rheinland. Under the alliance, the companies will expand Project Management Consulting Services to clients worldwide in the infrastructure, energy; chemicals, and mining & metals industries.

Firstly, the 5-year alliance will allow both companies to expand their solutions in Project Management Consultancy and project controls and supervision services into new markets. It will leverage both companies’ strengths as world-class players in their respective industries.

Moreover, the expansion would help and push further energy transition efforts worldwide. Particularly, Technip Energies is a leader in the field of engineering and technology for the energy transition. Indeed, it has leadership positions in liquified natural gas (LNG), hydrogen, and ethylene.

After the alliance, the company will expand its leadership in sustainable chemistry and CO2 management. Moreover, the company operates in 34 countries and is listed on Euronext Paris with American depositary receipts traded over-the-counter in the United States.

On the other hand, TÜV Rheinland has more than 150 years of experience in testing services. The company specializes in testing technical systems and products around the world. It also supports innovations in technology and business; trains people in numerous professions, and certifies management systems according to international standards.

Technip Energies and TÜV Rheinland to seize opportunities worldwide

As a result, the partnership would create a solid platform to launch top-of-the-line projects around the world. About such matter, Charles Cessot, Senior Vice President Strategy of Technip Energies, commented. “This alliance is fully in line with our strategy to grow our services and advisory business. It also further demonstrates how we can bring our core capabilities to expand into adjacent markets and create added-value services.”

Finally, this alliance follows Technip Energies’ joint venture with the National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC). The JV launched during the Gastech Industry Conference last September. Its goal would also be to launch the energy transition in the United Arab Emirates.
