LO3 Energy

A shopping center in New South Wales, Australia, was installed the LO3 Energy software Pando. It will optimize renewable energy production. This software enables suppliers and clean energy operators to 24/7 support load matching. An Australian renewable energy fund Solar Bay supported the project.

LO3 Energy has successfully deployed this software in seven different countries in dozens of markets. They are working with companies like Shell, Sumitomo, and Green Mountain Power, and other shopping centers, schools, community solar installation, and microgrids as a result.

More about Pando Software

As we now know, this software offers the clean energy operator good tools to improve 24/7 support. This software is also offering intelligent incentives to drive renewable energy use. Another plus is Pando´s tools comprehensive data on energy usage and production.

To help the users optimize consumption patterns, they offer economic incentives, and at the same time, customers make maximum use of renewable sources.

In addition, Pando´s software includes GHG emissions monitoring tools so that the customers can track their energy goals progress.

“We’re happy to partner with Solar Bay to provide them the tools to maximize the value of their solar assets.” says Bill Collins, CEO of LO3 Energy. “Solar Bay has already demonstrated a commitment to bringing renewable energy to the site. Pando is helping them make full use of both new and existing solar assets. We look forward to continuing our work with Solar Bay, and Pando is a great way to support their efforts. It will bring more renewable energy to commercial sites and districts across Australasia.”

“Pando is a great addition to our energy portfolio. It condenses what used to be several different metrics into one easy-to-understand interface.” says James Doyle, Investment Director of Solar Bay. “With Pando, we have fine-tuned metrics and visualizations of our energy usage in absolute and financial terms. LO3 Energy has provided us with the means to encourage the shopping center’s tenants. We´ll take even greater advantage of the building’s solar assets to increase their renewable usage.”
