Mansfield Energy expands its natural gas portfolio with eServices acquisition

Mansfield Power and Gas company has expanded its natural gas portfolio with the acquisition of eServices energy Management.

The announcement was made this Wednesday by the Georgia-based company.

According to the statement, firstly, the acquisition intends to expand Mansfield’s portfolio for the mid-Atlantic.

“As a growing natural gas supplier, Mansfield Power & Gas is rapidly expanding into new markets and services,” said Tammy Norman, Mansfield’s General Manager.

“The recent acquisition of eServices Energy Management enhances our natural gas supply portfolio and provides more competitive, reliable supply for our customers in the mid-Atlantic,” she concluded.

Secondly, the acquisition expands Mansfield’s natural gas portfolio into the producer services business. It will provide to the Appalachia supply region with marketing and logistical solutions.

Mansfield to provide for Marcellus and Utica producers

In addition, the Marcellus and Utica shale producers will also be covered by the new services of the company.

“Through this service, Mansfield will leverage the supply to grow its end-user customer base in the Mid-Atlantic region;” the company’s statement reads.

For Michael Mansfield, Sr., CEO, “this acquisition positions our company to continue its growth in the rapidly evolving natural gas market.”

“As North America’s leading energy distributor, our company is committed to operating a diverse and expanding portfolio of energy solutions;” he concluded.

As of now, company’s portfolio includes products, services, natural gas, and diesel. Now, it has expanded to data management, price risk management tools, and marketing and services provider.
