Aer Soléir, an Integrated European Onshore Wind, Solar, and Energy Storage Platform, will receive the initial commitment made by 547 Energy.

547 Energy International LLC announced the commission of $250 million of equity funding to Aer Soléir. They are onshore wind, solar, and energy storage company in Dublin, Ireland.   

Aer Solér has the goal to support Europe’s desire to become the world’s first climate-neutral continent. Therefore, the plan is to construct, own, and operate renewable energy projects throughout Europe by 2050. This company also has 20 employees dedicated to actively looking for projects in the development stage across the European Union.

Gabriel Alonso, Chief Executive Officer of 547 Energy, said, “Andy and Manus have assembled a deeply experienced and talented team. It will support Europe’s near-term renewable energy targets and ambition to transition to a clean energy economy. We are confident in Andy, Manus, and the team’s ability to grow Aer Soléir into a leading European pure-play renewable energy developer. At the same time the team works to develop the projects needed to transition to a clean energy economy.”

The company has two Founding Partners, Andy Kinsella, as Chief Executive Officer, and Manus O’Donnell as Chief Financial Officer. Each of them brings to the table essential aspects to help the company’s growth. Andy Kinsella, for instance, brings experience in the international energy sector with over 35 years in the industry. He has held leadership positions in several companies, including ESB International, GE, Siemens, and Mainstream Renewable Power. 

On the other hand, we have Manus O’Donnell, who was recently Chief Investment Officer of NTR plc. Asset manager of renewable energy projects. He focused on wind, solar and storage projects in Europe and the U.S.
