Green Power Developers and Rosemawr partner for solar projects in NJ

Green Power Developers

Green Power Developers, a New Jersey-based solar energy company, and Rosemawr Sustainable Infrastructure Management have begun the development of a joint portfolio of solar projects in New Jersey.

Firstly, Green Power Developers’ inception was in 2010, intending to help businesses and property owners benefit from the adoption of solar energy. To this date, the company leverages a decade of experience in renewable energy development. It provides tailor-made solutions and seamless project execution for its extensive client base.

On the other hand, Rosemawr Management is an established investment management firm focused on the municipal, not-for-profit, charter school and sustainable infrastructure sectors. To this date, it has approximately $1.5 billion in assets under management.

Moreover, its sustainable infrastructure portfolio currently includes investments in over 80 solar energy projects across 13 states. Consequently, the two companies launched a new joint portfolio to have a robust platform and development strength.

In fact, both companies are already working on six projects out of this portfolio that began construction in the past three months. They also aim to add three more projects to the ones in the construction phase, by the end of the year.

Green Power Developers with a unique portfolio in the state

Moreover, the projects all received funding from structures that allow the host property owner to retain ownership of each project without requiring any upfront capital. Further, each project provides the host with utility bill savings from clean energy.

About the matter, Heshy Katz, president at Green Power Developers, said. “New Jersey is our home base, and we are excited to continue to deploy solar energy throughout the state. We especially pride ourselves on meeting the individual needs of each customer, and partnering with Rosemawr has helped us achieve that goal for these projects.”

Furthermore, he commented. “We look forward to continuing to build the portfolio in the coming months and years.”

Finally, Joshua Herlands, Managing Partner at Rosemawr, said. “Green Power Developers has built a unique and robust solar development and installation business model that is predicated on delivering efficient solutions for the end-user. We are excited about supporting these projects with flexible financing as we continue to grow our sustainable infrastructure portfolio.”
