Graphex Technologies expand in USA

Graphex Technologies LLC, released its update on milestones achieved so far in 2022. It is a world leader in the intermediate processing of specialized natural graphite used in electric vehicles.

The presence and expansion of Graphex Technologies have grown in recent years in the automotive sector. Therefore, they are currently experiencing tremendous growth in Warren, MI, the heart of the automotive industry.

The world is going through a critical moment in history. Several countries have come together to invest in solutions against climate change for example. Proof of this is the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. It is intended to provide the most prominent investment to combat climate change in the history of the United States.

The preceding opens up a panorama where the demand projections for electric vehicles will grow to the extent that the demand for minerals necessary for their creation will grow for instance. As we know, the batteries of these vehicles are made of lithium-ion batteries from which they feed.

Graphex is currently one of the leading providers of spherical graphite. It is specialized in EV and renewable energy industries, with a global expansion strategy behind them. This way, they will join efforts for electrification and energy transition worldwide.

“We continue to pursue supply deals and prepare to break ground on our new processing plant in Michigan. There is the heart of the automotive industry. We believe Graphex’s growth trajectory is fully aligned with and supported by the recent policy advances. Also, funding opportunities for the domestication of critical minerals processing.” Said John DeMaio, CEO of Graphex Technologies and president of Graphex’s Graphene Division.

“As we recently shared with the New York Times, we believe that the invocation of the Defense Production Act, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the newly enacted Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 will greatly assist companies like Graphex to accelerate the scale of domestic production to meet demand and in turn accelerate the transition to EVs and other sustainable energy solutions that utilize lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries. Also, and having experienced many campaigns for change over a long career in the energy transition arena, I am very encouraged to see such widespread foundational support for the electrification of mobility, and to see policy become legislation and legislation beget funding at a truly unprecedented pace.”
