AFG Holdings Acquires Maass Flange Corporation enhancing North American supply chain

Today, oil holding company Ameriforge (AFG) Holdings, Inc. announced it acquired the fully integrated forging and machining manufacturer, Maass Flange Corporation. Accordingly, the North American assets of Maass Global Group will now be of AFG’s property. Indeed, this acquisition includes the company’s businesses in Mexico and Canada.

Worth noting, Maass Flange Corporation is the largest domestic manufacturing supplier of stainless and nickel alloy flanges in North America.

Reception and about the acquisition

In this regard, Joe Jenkins, President of AFG Holdings’ Aero & Industrial division, commented; Indeed, “Maass’ market-leading positions in stainless and nickel alloys align well with AFG Holdings’ market leadership in carbon flanges; thus, creating combined bundling opportunities through a unified supply chain while reducing costs for our customers.”

Consequently, the new entity will be called ‘Ameriforge LLC.’ Moreover, Alex Maass would lead this unit.

Worth noting, the acquisition includes all Houston-area facilities, Canada and Mexico. Therefore, Ameriforge AFG can now offer unparalleled products and capabilities across the spectrum of all forged products, the Company said in a statement.

Indeed, these products would include everything from carbon and high yield to specialty alloys. Besides, the Company would provide complementary products over a uniquely broad spectrum of material grades and dimensions.
